Hawkesbury Cricket Club Ladies Selection policy 2024 Season
Selection for Hawkesbury Cricket Club Ladies teams is done by the selection team. Meetings or discussions will take place on a weekly basis and selection will be published at least 3 days before each fixture, except in the case of low availability in which case this may be delayed.
There are two senior ladies teams for the 2024 season with the following purpose:
A Team – this team is a competitive, performance driven team with the aim of giving HCC’s more advanced, committed players the chance to play regularly with a core team to maximise the chance of winning games and develop players in a competitive environment.
B Team – this team is a development focused team with the aim of giving players of all abilities the chance to play and develop skills, knowledge and game awareness, as well as to attract new players to the game.
For both teams the following criteria will be taken into consideration when choosing the team from a pool of available players:
